Katie will bring a fresh and inspiring approach to worship and ministry, and we will be thinking about her as she finishes her course, and prepares for her ministry among us. Katie, who already has her degree in theology from studying at Wesley House in Cambridge, has been training at Queen’s Foundation in Birmingham to be a minister and has also been completing a Masters in Applied Theology, and her first appointment will be in Sheffield. She will be the minister at Hillsborough Trinity, Wisewood and Brightholmlee Methodists Churches. She has been to Sheffield twice now to see the churches, meet some of the congregation, and look round the manse. Katie said she is really excited about moving to Sheffield (being an honorary northerner at heart, as her family are from Liverpool) and is looking forward to beginning circuit ministry in September. Katie’s Mum, Jenny, will be moving here too, and we are delighted to welcome her also. Katie from a recent trip to the Tamil Nadu Theological Seminary in South India as part of a group from Queen’s
